S. Griebel has been a stained glass artisan for 35 years, a mixed-media mosaic artisan for 10 years, and a glass fusing artisan as recent as 3 years. She doesn’t sell her work; fine art & glass are her hobbies. She lives in Northern Indiana, but will be moving to the Charleston, SC area in 2016. These are a couple of her fused glass pieces.
“Moon Sister” (2015) – Original Design (Chinese symbols – younger & older sister, Cancer zodiac sign – mounted on glass over Asian printed material)

Christmas Kitty(2015) – Original Design. This design was a stained glass pattern that she found on the Internet and used for a fusible creation. She just tweaked it a bit to fit a "round" design from a "square" pattern and changed the kitty's eyes. All the Christmas decorations are removable!

Fused art by P. Fisher of Sunset Beach, NC. Ms. Fisher donates most of her art to charity functions. The heart was placed in a wrought iron display for a striking contrast between red and black. The fused fish made an eclectic clock. |
